Work, School, and Play

As a non-traditional student, I am in a constant struggle with balancing work, school, and leisure time.
Some things that have helped me balance the three are:

  • Using a calendar or academic planner
  • Plan specific times for homework, lunch with friends, etc.
  • Stay in close contact with professors, they can be such a huge help!
  • Procrastination=bad
  • Online classes can be great! They allow you to move at your own pace. For more helpful tips on online courses see [http://mis213fall2012.wikidot.com/wiki:success-in-online-classes]

All in all, it takes a well rounded person to juggle school and full time work, and as I have had to realize,
sometimes you need to work less or cut back on credit hours to make it work.
