Tips for staying caught up on schoolwork

When I first started college I did not take it as seriously as I should have. I was not use to actually studying for tests and teachers not reminding me of work being due. Take my advice, do not make the same mistake. Once you make too many mistakes your freshman year it is hard to get yourself back out of that hole.

Some tips to make sure this does not happen:

  • always carry a planner
  • do your work ahead of time
  • go to class!
  • put school before partying
  • start studying at least a week before the test. Don't wait until the night before.
  • Don't be afraid to visit your professor during office hours if you're confused about the material.
  • stay awake during class
  • Don't keep putting stuff off. It all piles up on you at once.

If you stay on top of your work from the beginning then you won't have as much stress when everything is due!

Hope this helped!
