Dealing with stress

Tips to deal with stress:

1. Get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.
2. Exercise frequently.
3. Perform meditation and breathing exercises.
4. Keep up to date with your workload and do not leave things until the last minute.
5. Avoid the stressor if possible.
6. Express your feelings instead of bottling them up.
7. Be more assertive and deal with your problems head on. Putting things off can only make it worse.
8. Don't try to control the uncontrollable.
9. Look for the upside of any given situation. When looking at challenges, see them as a chance for personal growth.
10. Learn to forgive. We live in an imperfect world and we all make mistakes. Remove negative energy by forgiving and moving on from the issue.
11. Go for a walk or listen to music. Do something that you enjoy.
12. Eat and drink healthy. Try to moderate fatty foods and alcohol.
